                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REMOVE CONDITIONS FROM ORDINANCE NO. 9996,
                   ENCAPTIONED AS SET FORTH HEREIN, ON A TRACT OF
                   LAND LOCATED IN THE 2100 BLOCK OF GUNBARREL
                   ROAD, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF GUNBARREL
                   ROAD SOUTHWEST OF SHALLOWFORD ROAD.

              	   SECTION 1.	  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE 

         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to remove conditions from Ordinance No. 9996,
         encaptioned, "AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
         AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS TO REZONE A TRACT 
OF
         LAND LOCATED IN THE 2100 BLOCK OF GUNBARREL ROAD, BEING ON THE
         NORTHWEST LINE OF GUNBARREL ROAD SOUTHWEST OF SHALLOWFORD ROAD, 

         FROM C-4 PLANNED COMMERCE CENTER ZONE TO C-2 CONVENIENCE
         COMMERCIAL ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS."  on:
                  
                   Lot 32, Hamilton Place Commercial Complex, as
                   shown by plat of record in plat book 50, page
                   337, ROHC, lot 33, Hamilton Place Commercial
                   Complex, as shown by plat of record in plat
                   book 50, page 238, ROHC, lot 34, Hamilton
                   Place Commercial Complex, as shown by plat of
                   record in plat book 50, page 211, ROHC, and an
                   unplatted tract; being part of the property
                   described in deed book 3426, page 704, ROHC. 
                   Said lots and unplatted tract form one tract
                   beginning on the northwest line of Gunbarrel
                   Road 115 feet southwest of the intersection of
                   the northwest line of Gunbarrel Road with the
                   southwest line of Conner Lane (unopened),
                   thence southwest 701.43 feet with Gunbarrel
                   Road, thence northwest some 184.49 feet,
                   thence northwest some 84.5 feet to the
                   southeast line of lot 3, Hamilton Crossing, as
                   shown by plat of record in plat book 40, page
                   158, ROHC, thence northeast some 595.49 feet
                   with the southeast line of said lot 3, and
                   continuing with the southeast line of revised
                   lot 1, Hamilton Crossing, as shown by plat of
                   record in plat book 43, page 9, ROHC, thence
                   northwest some 106.66 feet with the northeast
                   line of said revised lot 1 to the southwest
                   corner of lot 35, Hamilton Place Commercial
                   Complex, as shown by plat of record in plat
                   book 46, page 78, ROHC, thence southeast
                   301.44 feet with the southwest line of said
                   lot 35 to the northwest line of Gunbarrel
                   Road, the point of beginning.  Tax Map No.
                   149I-A-1.5 (part).
        
        
              	   SECTION 2.	  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this
         Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its 
passage,
         as required by law.
